I'm just feeling so memeish lately XD
CatgirlKawaii tagged me (Thanks for showing me how to do this...*Paint illiterate*) and here it is!

It's primarily for my OC, Ryo (maybe these inspired a few others..) and just my art in general.
Inspirations (left to right, top column going down)

1. The Tales of... Game series, primarily Tales of the Abyss and Tales of Symphonia. Tales of the Abyss is my favorite game, and their art designer. Kosuke Fujishima is awesome. I've just loved their way of storytelling and character designs.

2. My friends' art. That Ryo sketch was by Kaijin89, an awesome artist friend of mine. She always inspires me to try better and draw stuff even if i don't want to.

3. Dragonball Z. Possibly my favorite anime/manga series of all time. Most everybody my age loves Dragonball Z. (Kaijin89 drew that Goku pic.)

4. Akira. It's one of my favorite anime movies (it probably is, actually). I also liked the phychological and ethnical themes of the manga/movie. I'm into the darkness this movie presents. Also it's bloody as all get-out and I love it.

5. Demons. Most likely one of my BIGGEST contributions to Ryo. I've always has an obsession with demons and the struggle between angels/demons, good/evil, and probably always will.

6. Humor (picture by Zero Punctuation). If I see/hear/do somethign funny enough, Ill usually incorprate it somehow.

7. Manga. Reading manga makes me wanna draw one (I know I never will) so its a good source.

8. Linkin Park. Undoubtably my favorite band ever (minus maybe Minutes to Midnight). The songs In the End and Runaway probably helped my mentally morph Ryo into my imagination, so they're awesome.

9. Trigun/Yasuhiro Nightow. Trigun is probably my favorite manga series (anime was good too) and I've fallen in love with Nightow's artstyle though I could never do it. He's always so freakishly detailed and has a way of creating confusing, yet intriguing charatcers, so I love him.

10. Paradise Lost by John Milton (it's a book...). The story of Eden told through a different, darker light. It's stuck with me since I read it and I actually have Ryo quote the book. I'm actually kinda obsessed with it...

11. Gaming music. When in doubt, turn on some kickass game music. It helps. (Adder, since I love Adder's theme)

12. Digimon. Another one of my aime favorites. My favorite Digimon were the Angelic ones (Patamon and Gatomon). The Dark Masters were also freakign sweet.

13. Pokemon. Who didn't like Pokemon? Dratini, since the cute little dragon inspired every dragon on BAHD. >>

14. Paganism. It's not Christianity, so I'm gonna have fun with it, though I do actually take a lot from Christianity, Buddhism and whatnot. Probably brougthton by the Mists of Avalon. Might have a lot to do with the demons part...

15. Friends in general. Some of my OCs are carbon copies of my friends' personalities.

16. Disturbed, my second favorite band. I love the angry music, and I dream of David Draiman voicing Steel one day ><
