Hello!!
This is my submission for the Avatar: The Last Air Bender challenge!

This is my first challenge attempt, so I guess that makes me a noob, WOOT WOOT!

...Yeah anyways~ a little bit about the picture, the scanning quality kinda sucks, the rocks are BROWN! Plus they have cracks in them too! The materials used were grey lead pencil, coloured pencils and fineliner. (rubber and sharpener too in case you were wondering)

Ahh... how did I get the idea you ask? Well! Aang was obviously the first on the page, I saw this picture of him I thought I like his serious expression so, after pencil sketching him on, I got an epiphany for how to put the water in- I thought MOSES! So then I sketched that on.

The air came next, i'd already drawn the water in the way so I had to change the layout, but i think it was a good idea to have it underneath him.

The fire came after and was randomly placed, which turned out to be a good random placing!
hmm, so last but well I suppose least, the earth aka the rocks falling from the sky... In truth I wanted a giant rock wall but A4 paper is kinda limited in space, whats the next best thing? A LANDSLIDE! so I put that in and started vigorously colouring in, my coloured pencils are the type where you have to press really hard to get the right texture, my hand ached after finishing the different stages, I ended taking a picture every time I stopped colouring, just to monitor my progress (never done that before either) but it was fun looking back on it from black and white to colour...

i've written a lot so i'll go now, but i hoped you enjoy my work XD
