Whoo so tired!

So here’s the colored and completed picture of Belimai for Kelsey’s contest. If you haven’t yet please check it out. I’m the only one that entered and it truly a great and very fun contest to join!

First off the scanner made the colored pencil look SO grainy! It looks much smoother in real life *kicks scanner*. The colors are a little washed out too but I guess it help the *pale skin look* but once again it looks better in real life. The graininess didn’t help when deleting the white background from the picture it self. It left a lot of residue on the edges of Belimai and I didn’t feel like erasing it all and making it perfect. *fail*

I had a lot of fun doing this though and enjoying my beloved colored pencils and traditional mediums again. For the longest time I felt like it was such a burden to color ANYTHING. So yeah this was very fun for me!

The background I had slipped some stuff together and played around with the setting and things. I was getting really tired so I didn’t have anything special in mind but a presentable background that fits the character. The sparkles whoever was the most fun of it all and the quickest! XD
