Edit July 26: Here's the link to what he looks like now...if you care...Go!!!
Here's my entry for HametsuKuro's contest Your Style. My submission doesn't really compare to everyone elses, but no harm done really right? I drew this like 2 days ago and when I got on I decided I wanted to enter it into something, a found this, so yay!
So, small discription about the pic. These are two oc's of mine. The one on the left is Lavane and hugging her is her older bro Nex. Nex is 17 Lavene is 14...even though she doesn't look like it. This was before the accident that caused Nex to make a deal with Death and save his sister. Nex now hardly looks like that anymore. I drew a picture of him now. I just need to color it and I'll upload it soon. Watch out for it if you're interested!
Now the actual required description!!! WOoT!
When did you begin drawing?
Well, ever since I was little. But I didn't really get serious into drawing until 3 years ago. Lol I can say I really SUCKED royaly. You can see my old art on Deviantart if you wish. Link!
Did you create your own style or is it an inspiration/mixture of many different famous styles?
Uhhh....I think it's more of an inspiration/mixture of many different styles. I see something that I like and try it out when I draw, and if it fits then I keep it. I don't keep doing something if it doesn't just flow through my hand, or makes what I'm drawing look really strange. I want to be able to enjoy and feel the picture when I draw, not force it out.
How long have you been sticking to your style?
Well, since I fixed my jaw line and tweeked my noses about two or so weeks. I don't chance stuff like that very often. So I should be staying with this for a while. I'm always improving and learning, so I can't really have everything look exactly the same for a VERY long period of time. But nothing major should change anytime soon.
Are you satisfied enough to keep your style going far into the future or do you still think there is room for improvement?
Like I said before. I'm always learning, and I totally suck at different poses like this picture for instance. This was the first picture I ever attempted to draw like this. I think it turned out well. yup. Also my hands and feet totally need to be improved. I need to learn how to color better, and....well I think you get the point. But other than all of that, yes I'm very satisfied. I keep looking at this picture and go, 'Omigosh did I really draw that?' Yes, yes I did. I recently opened my eyes and saw that I don't completely suck! I'm actually pretty good in my own way.
Well...that was long. I hope you guys like it and enjoy!
