I discovered quite some time ago the value of using sports shots as action poses. Mine come mostly from baseball, but I've used yoga and gymnastics as well. Different or unusual angles really break up a scene in your manga, and give the eye something exciting to look at. Besides, they are fun and challenging to draw.

So here is my entry. Ren is in a gymnastics pose. Since it looks almost unnatural, I actually posted the photograph that inspired me in my world, 108 Stitches. The man she is dueling with was inspired from a baseball shot.
