This was one of my submissions for our Literary Magazine. The poem submitted to us was about some haughty girl and how girls saw through her, but men wanted her so badly...Hence the green 'envy' girls silently had for her and the green 'greed' men had when wanting her to be theirs. Something poetic like that. They're reaching for what's set too high above them, and they'll never be able to reach, as she blows fake promises love and kisses down to them. Bleh. Feedback?
