I'll be honest in saying that I'm not sure if this breaks rules or not. I've seen far worse things in PG 13 stuff before and honestly consider this very tame. But if I'm asked to remove it or find it gone I won't complain. I'll apologize greatly though for wasting the time of the mods here.

So...basically this is Skye. I've only drawn him a few other times before back when my friend was actively rping with me. Not sure what possessed me to draw him again but I did.

This piece is entirely symbolic. He doesn't lose his wings and, as far as I'm aware, has never killed anyone.

Well, in honest truth I drew this, realized I had no room to draw his wings, then cut them off for the picture

Anyways...Skye is a male harpy living with a rather secluded tribe on top of a mountain.

His father had a few disagreements with the chief and, after a few heated arguments, decided to leave the tribe with his wife. No one knew what he did during that time but he came back without her and with a small child in tow. When Skye was five his father, again fed up with the village chief, challenged him to a duel.

Fights between harpies are few and violent, usually ending in death. Before Skye's eyes he witnessed his father torn to pieces. Now normally by their laws a traitor who challenges the chief has himself and his family exiled from the rest of the tribe. However, since Skye was alone and far too young to care for himself they made an exception claiming that there was no proof that he really was his father's child as no one witnessed his birth. It was a weak loophole, but it spared him from death.

It did not spare him, however, from being subjected to teasing and torment from others. So he grew up a rather quiet, distant person wanting to do anything to prove he was not a traitor like his father.

This is pretty much where I started rping with him. I might scrap the rp story though since my friend dropped it and just go with a new one.

And there you have it. The picture is symbolic of him thinking of his father's death and how he's still bathed in that history. And totally not because I ran out of room for his wings
