When I first heard about the Casshern Sins challenge, I was thinking "how awesome" since it's not everymonth there's a challenge following the theme of an old school Anime superhero, and "Casshern Sins" is said to be a reboot of a 1970s T.V. series. So, being a fan of classic Japanese Fiction superheroes (like Ultraman, Astro Boy, Kamen Rider, Gatchaman, etc), I decided to give the challenge a try.

Although I never watched "Casshern Sins", I thought about giving Casshern a retro-like muscular appearance, inspired by 1950s superhero comic books.
