This...Thing is Arakune from the 2D fighting games series Blazblue.
Explaining his story would be long,so in short...It's a corrupted being.

Well,at first I just thought of him as a crazy monster,but when I started learning about his story and thought about his situation,I felt sympathy for him and he grew on me until he became of my favourites of the game(which is saying a lot,in a game where I like every single playable character(with a possible exception))

I mean,this guy has one of the saddest situations in the game(which,again,is saying a lot,in a game where almost everyone is a Woobie)

Poor,poor Arakune.
Thin Red Line is the name of his theme song in the game,which also one of my favourite songs in the game(thus one of my favourite music overall)
