I finally came up with my "Shikai", and here it is.

Its basicly 3 electrified free-floating rings that can expand or contract. Besides melee and mid-long range strikes, it can mimic up to 3 energy-based projectile attacks. While in mimic mode, a ring becomes unusable for attacks and attaches to the right arm, and the opponent's sword extends out of the bladeless hilt. A "Bankai" can be copied, but renders all 3 rings unusable.

I'd make a pretty good filler character, lulz.
