"I am the Count of Monte Cristo. Formerly known as Edmond Dantes."

I had this quote in mind when I decided to draw this.(I love that scene) It's my vision of how Edmond Dantes looked, just before he became the count of Monte Cristo. Like, in the transision phase when he's just going around seeing old friends before he executes his perfect plan of revenge.

I read the book "The Count of Monte Cristo" YEARS ago, then saw the movie, and decided that I like them both, though the book is more dense. And I recently saw the first episode of the anime and decided I must have it as well. ><

The words are just themes that reoccur in the book....mostly revebge, and the movie focuses a lot of love and God.

Edmond Dantes/The Count of Monte Cristo are NOT mine. They belong to Alexandre Dumas. I just really like it.
