Look at that! I finally did something for this challenge! WOoT! So this is my improvement for jeweloflife's challenge 'Prove Your Improvement'. Man I hope I improved some! I looks like it.... to me at least....

This be Nino Umaka! (the original Nino...not the me Nino. My very first oc, or close to ithence why I use her name.) Back when I was WAY into Naruto she came into existence! There wasn't the fan character box in the Naruto thing....so it's okay to put this into original right? I hope so...
Q & A time!!!

From a scale of 1-10, how have you improved in quality/skill?Why? Hmmm.....I'd say about a 6 or 7, why you ask? My quality has gotten so I've got more defined lines that actually flow a bit more instead of just cut off and stop. My art has become a lot more pleasing to look at I hope! and I've also been able to start experimenting with digital art. I've also been able to mix and match until I've found a style that has become my own....well, I've yet to find anyone else with a style like mine.

How has your understanding of art techniques and such developed? I've gotten a lot better understanding with anatomy than I've had before, don't get me wrong I've still got a LOOOONG way to go, but I've been able to come far in the last four years. I understand postitions that a human usually can't be in and a bit more of how things move. I've also come to a better understanding of shading. I'm still an amature but it's gotten to where you can, hopefully, tell where the light is coming from most of the time.

What have you learned? Isn't this sorta like the last question? ....oh well, I've learned that no matter how hard I want to immediately I want to get better there's no possible way that I can do that. So, I've slowly been learning coloring, drawing, postions, ect... so I can get better and better. Does that work?

What inspired you to improve? I want to be able to catch up to a friend of mine so that she may have a rival....she said last year that it's boring to not have someone to compete against. I made a goal that in five years (four in feburary) that I'd have gotten good enough to be her rival. I've still got a LONG way to go. This amazing friend of mine is Natsu nii, go check her out. You'll be amazed!

Any tips for those wishing to improve themselves? PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!!!! And never give up or get discouraged! No matter what anyone says or does that makes you feel like you're crap, don't listen to them and keep trucking along. If drawing is something you're passionate about just keep going and improving and prove everyone who doubted you wrong!
