Go see it in high-res in order to REALLY see it.
Painting final~! This one started off pretty bland, being told to make a space from like, art history and stuff. Huh.
But wait! Dudes! I can totally make up the TARDIS of the Doc! Yaaaaay!
It's not what I envision his TARDIS to actually be like, but it's kind of an idea. It's the rough workings of it. I like it for what it is, and it sort is what I think. You know what I'm saying?
The paintings on the left are legitly part of the assignment. We were supposed to do a diptych, but I thought it would be better as a triptych. Anyway! Journal pages! Yeah! Tells the story of Tati, or the beginnings of the story with her.
My painting prof really liked the whole idea and likened it to a "portal". "We're given an entry to this world through both the journal pages that we can read and relate to and then the fact that the interior space looks open and inviting us in." Cool!
I really enjoyed this one, if you can't tell.
