This is Sir Alistair Glazastov, Holy Knight of the Grand Duchess of Perovskia! I updated his uniform, which was heavily inspired off of Czar Nicolas II's uniforms (which were gorgeous btw). The symbol in the back is the lesser version of the Coat of Arms of Imperial Russia via Wikipedia. I thought it was very appropriate since my tale is set in Imperial Russia (I just changed the name to Perovskia). Anywho, the poem in the back is Halls Grew Darker by Aleksander Blok, a Russian poet, and I think it suits this gloomy gentleman
SPEAKING OF GENTLEMAN!!! I entered this into the perfect gentleman challenge since Alistair was created as my ideal guy. Honestly, I think guys with long hair are really attractive! I am also a fan of men in uniforms or pre-1940's attire. I'll explain why I think Alistair is the perfect gentleman besides his physical features:
- He does not swear. (I wish there were still men out there who did not cuss because swearing is a major turn-off)
- He fights like a man! (you know, the good ole' fashioned days when swords were the thing, not guns.)
- He is mature (He can totally handle Shakespeare)
- He has a cool name! (Sir Alistair Glazastov, don't you just like sayin' it?)
- HE IS A KNIGHT. (Knights are ssooo sexy! Just not these days...)
- He hates kids (DEAR LORD kids are spawn of the devil...)
- He attends mass on a regular basis (There is something strangely attractive about a devout man..)
He has some other features but they might not be good ones. Some examples:
Alistair is attracted to younger girls (Natalya is 15 while he is in his 20's. Not too creepy but a little odd today)
- He prefers higher quality items (from clothes to swords, its quality over quantity for him)
- He doesn't like getting dirty or looking unkempt (while he isn't a neat freak, he does prefer organization)
- If you are not his friend it is highly recommended that you address him as Sir Alistair
Alistair is not perfect, but he is my ideal guy
