One of the main characters in my book that Ive written/writing. I say writing cuz its being edited for like the fourth time, its done from start to end. My book is called Night Wolves and is told from Leanne's point of view. Here is a brief summary of what its about: (I say brief, but it never really is)

In Night Wolves there are two beings. The humans and the nagual. The nagual are half human half animal people(dont forget regular animals too). They have animal ears and a tail, but the rest of them is human. They can shift into animal form at any time.
Humans dont know about the nagual because they live in hiding from them. If humans knew about them, there would be chaos in the naguals lives. The two main races of nagual in my book, cats and wolves, dont get along either. Since they know about each other,unlike humans(how many times have I said that already?) they are constantly at war with each other. Many villages have fallen from the wars.
Himitsu Village is one of them. Leanne(character above) and Luna, her twin sister(both fifteen years old), lived happily in Himitsu until the cats slaughtered everyone in the village but them and then set it ablaze.
The destruction of Leanne and Luna's village isnt their only problem, however. As said above, nagual can shift into their corresponding animal form at any time. Except Luna and Leanne. For some reason(to the reader, you) they can only shift at night. They dont know why it is, but they've always wanted to find out why. Their parents never let them outside the village to find out, so neither Leanne nor Luna know what the world outside Himitsu is like.
Now that their parents are gone, they have the freedom to find out why the cats destroyed Himitsu and why they cant shift. And so they set out on a journey to answer their questions.......

Leanne is very energetic and usually in a good mood, as you can see from the big smile on her face.
