Almost after a year of procrastination, the first prize of the Otaku Battle Royal is finally rewarded to Chel the Bell.

First of major apologies Chel for holding it off for so long, I never meant for it to happen ;A; Luckily, I've been getting my ass in gear as far as priorities so a lot of things that I wanted to work on or finish have been in my favor.

The picture itself I'm really happy with especially the background. I love kozai's profile side view, and just her general cool aura. I tried different coloring methods in the picture that I think went really well. I tried a more realistic approach to the hair that I really like the result of. The clothes just look shiny and bad ass. Playing around with techniques and trying new things really helped.

The background gave me a major headache (like they all usually do) since I'm usually not satisfied with what I do with them. It took a lot of trail and error where I normally just go with the first thing I like (but when I come to it later I don't like it). All and all, playing with a whole background and changing things gave me a background that doesn't look like Photoshop cheesiness/puke and matches the picture well.
