Well here is my entry for the challenge "PURE [Innocence]"

Anyway, she's from a roman/greek influenced story I came up with a while back.
She's the Keeper of Lost Souls, a deity that an entire city worships for her innocence and mercy. She takes lost souls to her paradise to live in bliss for eternity. The baby in the picture pretty much represents all lost souls that she takes under her wing. "Before the Keeper, all men are but newborns."

This is part traditional and part digital. I drew the girl with pencil and scanned it, then I drew the baby with my mouse, cause I don't have a tablet (and I didn't feel like borrowing my sister's again) and colored the line art with gimp.

ANYWAY, I think that's the longest description I have written for a picture in a looong time! XD
