The two figures are Artemis and her sacred Ceryneian hind. Artemis is the Greek goddess of the hunt and wild animals, although later she became the goddess of the moon. Her special weapons were her silver arrows. the female deer with golden antlers and brass hooves. One of Hercule's 12 Labors including capturing the hind without harming it. Although Artemis was angry at first, she allowed him to take the deer as long as it would not be harmed.

I got the idea for the metallic/robotic appearance of the hind and the more futuristic style of both from Apocalypse92's suggestion of metal wings! ^^ I would also like to give credit to my sister who inspired this piece =^-^= ...Thanks, and enjoy!!
