(Meira is Hebrew for ‘shining’ Niu is Chinese for “girl”)

Personality:Cheerful, but can be very quiet,

History: She was born with her ears and tail, although she is unsure how she got them, as she was abandoned at birth to an orphanage. She was ostracized(omg big word ) and often teased by the others, they made up names for her, as the caretakers refused to give her one, they called her fitting ones like Ying(clever) or Huǒ hú(FireFox, yes, the web browser), ones that hurt, or were overly sarcastic and ironic, like XiaoFan(little ordinary) Suyin (simple sounding) or YanMei (Seductive). The caretakers kept her in a separate room and chained her ankle to her bed. She finally ran away from there at age 18, with the help of a new caretaker whom she had befriended, she stole the head caretakers’ personal money and traveled, (she lived in Southwest China) giving herself the name Meira (first name) Niu (last)
She came upon the carnival at one point, and hasn’t left since.

Other:She retains many characteristics of her animal,
She prefers nighttime and dusk to morning and early afternoon (she’s both both nocturnal and crepuscular)
Her brand is across the top of her back, she rather likes the way it looks since she feels accepted and is sad that her shirt covers it most of the time.
She sometimes catches small animals, bugs and birds to eat--usually raw D:
She actually loves animals, but it seems to be instinct when she catches and eats them, since she can’t control herself, she’s usually horrified when she finds herself covered in fur or feathers
She mostly eats random leaves though (things like hamburgers or stuff slightly nauseates her occasionally-especially if its greasy)
She likes taking baths and grooming her tail
Can sleep anywhere, but likes sleeping up in trees.
Sometimes twitters(the sound-not site) without meaning to
Usually wears the colors dark red and yellow
