I found the solution. Draw the girls (and some of the guys XD) from Basilisk to acquire beautiful, lashy eyes. XD

This started off as a small sketch trying to practice those beautiful female eyes I’ve been seeing, when I was watching Basilisk and thought of trying to add lashes the way the anime does. Because honestly, Basilisk is already one of my favorite anime ever. And though this sketch wasn’t done on watercolor paper I ended up finishing it with watercolor anyway XP But this piece reminded me of how badly I want good red watercolor.

I decided to go with Oboro, since she was my favorite character from Basilisk so far. That and she had the prettiest eyes XD They’re really pretty, but even Gennosuke has those lashes, and at times it almost becomes too much! At least it was really good practice for me, that’s what I was going for I suppose.

Overall I’m happy with how this turned out. Took about 5 hours, but I was working on and off for awhile, so it felt like 12 XP
