Water color of Yuko from xxxholic. I made this for my friend, Faith, who is in my anime club. She's an incredibly talented artist, so I asked her if she'd do an art trade with me.

I love Yuko's character. Sometimes she's funny and sometimes she's almost macabre. Her character design is fun to play with too because she wears either traditional, but over the top, kimonos or sexy modern clothes.

I don't often paint with water colors anymore, and when I do, it's rarely for anime characters like this. Yuko is a always associated with bold colors which is kind of anti-water color. Still, my friend was happy with it!
