This show is not entirely unknown but still not mainstream. It is the Pirates of Dark Water. It has Ren, the leading hero, Tula, the female hero with mystical powers, the all-important compass for the Treasure of Rule, and the eyes of Bloth, the villain pirate king. Well not really a king but close enough. It is a great show and I wish someone would do something to finish off the series. Apparently it was the first show with a long-term objective, at least in America (maybe anywhere). Also I have always thought the animation of this time period was always better than anime, may not be the thing to say on this sight. Looks more, well, human. I think shows have taking a step back since then. Ok enough of that. Hope you like it.
