I've been watching an old school anime called 魔法の天使クリィミーマミ or Magical Angel CREAMY MAMI. It's from '83 so I've never really heard of it before, but it turns out it was one the of the first in the magical girl genre. Cool, huh?

About the series
Mami is actually a small girl that is given the power to transform into a 16 year old girl for one whole year. After her transformation she is so gorgeous she is quickly noticed by a talent agency and becomes an idol.

About my fanart
This is mami's teen form, in a combination of the older, simpler bishoujo style and my own style. her hairstyle is slightly updated. In the series, she sort of sports a bowl cut look. I'm not a fan. I have yet to see the OVAs, so maybe they look a bit more modern.
