For Starscream's 'Dream Wedding Attire' challenge.
I love TLC's 'Say Yes To The Dress' series, but being a Latter-Day Saint, I'm depressed by all the sleeveless, strapless, low-cut gowns so I've done a few designs of my own lately and this is kind of my favorite. The main colored picture is the back of the dress; it's a white overdress with an ivory underskirt. And yeah, it's straight of the one side, but full on the other, I've seen ones kind of like that. The insert pic shows the front; not much beading or glitz since I personally don't like that kind of stuff. But there are two switchable brooches for the skirt where it gathers; a plain, gold oval or a silk flower that comes in red, pink, light blue, purple and yellow. I'm thinking satin for the underskirt and maybe a rayon blend or something for the top. Didn't draw a veil because I have a hard time making them look good. But this dress is pretty and modest and should I ever finally get married, I might try to find someone who could make me this because I think I could look good in this.
