This is my rendition of him in is youth when he was just starting out as a ferryboy. Charon is the ethereal ferryman of Hades and guides the damned spirits across the rivers of Styx and Acheron in Greek mythology. Like Heracles, Aeneas, and Dante, he could take you on a tour for a small fee... (can you can see the amorphous souls in the background?)
