A 2011 Redo for this pic: http://www.theotaku.com/fanart/view/341399/dancing_miku
One day I decided to redo one of my old pics to see how much I've improved. And according to this redo, although it is different from the original, I like to think I have improved A LOT. Just within the past year, I've learned a whole bunch about proportions, ways to remember them, different styles to draw in and so forth. Also, thanks to my graphics tablet, which I drew the redo with, I've learned a lot because of it, too. I think it's helped my skills a lot, too, being able to reconstruct layers and rotate or move them to however I need them to. I have found that tablets are extremely useful and fun to draw with.
Anyway, I tried to use a vector-like feel for this pic. Well, instead of using lineart, anyway. I like how it turned out. I've worked on this for about 2 or 3 days with space in between while working on other stuff.
I hope you like this and that I keep improving with my drawing skills. I know I've got a long way to go, but it's always fun to learn new things. ^^
