I returned from an afternoon out to see this whole Challenge slam going down and a new pad of watercolor paper. Everything coincided with me making this.

This is Robyn, a character of Trip's, and, well, a robin. Tati thinks she's very witty calling her "little birdie". Anyhow, I'm posting this because I am inspired by Trip.

I mean, as far as my artistic inspirations, it's all manga and comic artists and dead painters. There's not exactly one single artist I can give credit to. But the thing about Trip is that I view her like a little sister, so the stuff she makes (especially when it's for me) is the kind of stuff I want to put on the fridge. I don't have younger siblings, so it's a novelty to see someone I'm close to make art.

There's also an enthusiasm that comes from her that is absolutely infectious and makes me want to make stuff. I always appreciate things that get me going.
