Hello, again!
Here's my submission for Wakusei Aoshi's challenge "Casual & Street Style." At first, I wanted to draw Link wearing something casual, but because I don't think I've ever drawn Zelda before, I decided to go with this. This is supposed to be the Zelda from Twilight Princess.
The outfit is based on a favorite outfit combination of mine: a knee-length flared skirt, a shirt, a short-sleeved jacket, and some neat sandals. It's pretty casual, but with just the right accessories (like some really nice jewelry and a more dressy top) can be good for slightly more formal occasions. What's different from my outfit is the color (I tried to base it on her outfit), the jacket fabric (mine's a jean jacket), the sandals (I don't own any like that ._.), and the beret... not completely sure why I added the beret. Makes her look kind of student-ish, methinks...
So yeah, student-ish Zelda, walking down a city street. It was originally sketched in pencil, outlined in ink (note to self: ball-point pens are easier and not so hazardous to use compared to dip pens... though the lines aren't as thin), and cleaned up and colored in Manga Studio Debut 3.0 (then copied-and-pasted into MS Paint 2007).
Well, with all that said, enjoy!
EDIT: Darn, forgot the bush's shadow and some hair highlights >_<
