Two of my Pokemon gijinkas, Batel the Mew and Bethel the Mewtwo. There names seem weird but have lots of fun biblical connotations. Batel is a Hebrew name meaning 'the daughter of God', which worked with Mew, who supposedly is the ancestor of all Pokemon. Bethel means 'the House of God', and is also the name of the place where Jacob saw the ladder between Heaven and Earth in the book of Genesis. Bethel/Mewtwo is a genetic recreation of Batel, the 'daughter of God', and so she 'houses' all of the powers and potential that God does.
