On the one hand, cuccoos kill you, but on the other hand, seagulls steal your lunch.

So here's my entry for snow fox's "25 Years of Legend of Zelda" competition. I originally wanted to draw something with Midna, but with the deadline drawing closer and me wanting to enter, I had to draw something. So here's Link and Zelda just chillin' at the beach... until the seagulls invaded. Poor Link. Reminds me of when we had picnics at the beach and the seagulls would want our stuff.

I haven't played Wind Waker, but my brother's playing through it now; such a charming art style that game has. References include a video clip on YouTube (courtesy of DemonDream95), official wallpapers from Nintendo's Zelda websites (regular and 25th Anniversary), and my brother, CitrusStorm.

This was originally drawn in pencil, inked with a ball-point pen (a Sanford Onyx Micro... I love that pen :D), scanned, and cleaned up/colored in Manga Studio Debut 3.0.
