Tonight, of all nights, there's a massive storm. Normally Hiro is scared of storms, but tonight he's got every right to be scared. It is blowing leaves and twigs off trees, raining extremely hard with hale mixed in, the wind is blowing so hard it's banging stuff against the house, and this storm has knocked out power to much of the city. There's even been reports in some areas where it has killed people. The forecasters are telling folks to stay indoors and be prepared to head to a basement, in the event that there might be a tornado with this storm.

In another room, Yuki is battling with similar fears and is being held by her mother.

Hiro's father will not venture out in this sort of storm. The only reason Hiei is wearing his coat now is to shelter himself against the cold in the house, due to the power outage.
