These are the Domini, or the 4 most powerful magi in existence in my story Magika. They have been granted the most prestigious title of all, and as such, they must carry out the varieties of duties given by the Concilium Arcanus, or the magi's government.

Cyr de Kiarath, the Fire Dominus, is the youngest in history at the age of 22. He is wise beyond his years, but is rebellious, individualistic, and is unwilling to obey authority. Initially, he and his younger brother Jacques were asked to split the title, but Jacques declined. Cyr's kind personality belies a fiery passion and a desire to enact revenge on the dark magi who murdered his parents.

Halaraz, the Air Dominus, is a strange man from the nomadic tribes of the Isaji. He follows a lifestyle called "Ko" - meaning "peace" in the Isaji's language. The Ko way of life advocates the use of magick in self-defense and to help others. The Isaji rely on constant meditation to refine their magical power, making Halaraz arguably the most powerful of the Domini.

Gareth Varlan, the Earth Dominus, comes from a colony of earth magi who live entirely in accordance with their element. He rejected their way of life at an early age and lived as a wanderer, using his magick to help those in need. When the Concilium discovered his power, they did not hesitate to grant him the honored title of Dominus.

Etiana Malincar, the young Water Dominus, was born in desperate poverty. Her twin sister Nilya possesses no magical power, and many think that Etiana absorbed the abilities of them both, becoming an extremely powerful water magus. She focused her studies on the manipulation of ice, which is her trademark form of magic. She is head-over-heels in love with Cyr, but she is very poor at expressing her emotions.
