This was my entry for a challenge a few months ago... (forgot the name, all I remember is that you had to draw something that had a tail, had a curl, a handicap, and you had to incorporate a crane into it. If it's yours I'm sorry, i give all credit to you and all that) but I didn't submit it in time.

This is Kathleen, a.k.a. Kat. She's a cat-girl. Kat is incredibly smart, almost genius-level. But Kat can't speak. Because of her handicap, no one takes her seriously. They treat her like a little kid, they think she's not good enough for anything. Kat is trapped in a tiny box in a corner of the world, silently suffering.
