Last, but certainly not least, John's character Ayatsuri completes our epic ninja trio!! His design is very dear to me, which is funny because I had the least to go on XD I think it's the details that I love most. The arm wraps (which, we decided, Aya will unravel when fighting so his opponents can't see his finger movements controlling his puppets), the western boot slits in the pants, etc. Kinda said it already, but Aya is a puppeteer. This is a little troublesome when it comes to Hanare, since she has a pretty intense irrational fear/hatred of puppets. But they end up getting on thick as thieves despite that :)

I referenced Bleach's Gin as well as Naruto's Sai for Aya's false smile. He does smile genuinely often enough, but his false smile is one of his trademark features.

I may actually resubmit this later, I forgot his forehead protector which will be hanging from his sash, and his facial hair. Phhhhhail.
