A sketch card featuring Katar Hol/Hawkman as he appears in the DC Comics The New 52 comic book series The Savage Hawkman. Unlike in the case of previous versions of Hawkman's main history shown in canon DC Universe continuity (which indicated Carter Hall and Katar Hol as separate entities), the history of the Post-Flashpoint New Earth (also known as the "Post-Flashpoint Earth-0", the "DC New 52 Universe", and "DCnU") indicates that Katar Hol uses the name Carter Hall to hide his alien identity from humans while on Earth, kinda' like the Kryptonian Kal-El calling hismelf "Clark Kent" to hide his alien identity from other humans.
