Background:
I was, as usual, surfing the internet trying to find reference images for a drawing I was working on, that drawing being none other than Terriermon! I found this cute picture of Terriermon gliding using its ears, and immediately after I saved it to my laptop, the picture started to emit a strange light! Before I knew what was pixelated and what wasn't, I landed head over bum on a digital landscape of what was the equivalent of AstroTurf.
After pulling myself together, I scanned the landscape for any form of life, be it computerized or not. Off in the distance there was some large creature that didn't look too friendly at all, so I dove behind a rock to try to figure out my next move. Not two minutes later did a Lopmon appear! It asked me to help find its twin, Terriermon, and after getting over the fact that yes, that bunny-like creature did just in fact speak to me, I followed Lopmon across the digital landscape in search of its twin.
After a half hour of searching for the lost Terriermon, I spotted it eating fruit in a tree. With the two twin Digimon reunited, I figured a strange light would appear and send me out of the Digital world back to mine... but no such luck. Instead, Terriermon invited me to help it and Lopmon to defend Digimon in trouble. Out of options (and with love of Terriermon in mind), I agreed. It placed its paws in my hand, and a Digivice appeared. After explaining Digivolution to me, and dubbing itself my official partner, Terriermon leapt onto my shoulder, waved to Lopmon, and pointed straight ahead, shouting, "Let's go, team!"
After about five minutes of walking, I picked up Lopmon and set it atop my head so it wouldn't have to walk the whole way (not pictured).
