A sketch card featuring DC Comics super-hero Rex Tyler/Hourman. In case some of you are new to the DC Universe experience, here are a few details on the character:

• He first appeared in Adventure Comics (Vol. 1) No. 48 (Cover Date: March 1940) as "Hour-man", but soon dropped the hypen in his super-hero name.
• According to canon DC Universe continuity, he originated in the Pre-Crisis Earth-Two (also known as the "Golden Age DC Universe"), where he co-established the Justice Society of America (or "JSA" for short).
• Rex is the original Hourman in not only the timeline of the Pre-Crisis Earth-Two, but also all of New Earth's/Modern Age DC Universe's three timelines (Post-Crisis, Post-Zero Hour, and Post-Infinite Crisis) with his on Rick tyler being Hourman II inall four timelines..
• Considering the non-existence of the JSA in the timeline of Prime Earth (a.k.a. "DC New 52 Universe" and "DCnU"), the current main universe setting for DC Universe canon, he maybe among the various super-heroes who either a) got erased out of existence by this universe's creation, or b) still remains existing but with his super-hero career eliminated altogether.
