i was listening to a lovely cover of the song
'I Will Follow You Into The Dark' by Death Cab For Cutie
and this happened

the idea was two souls meet after death, both lonely and with no one, so they choose to go into the unknown together

"...if there's no one beside you
when your soul embarks
then i'll follow you into the dark..."
