I used to do this drawing:

Pencil 9B, 6B, 5B, HB, 07 graphite, rubber and A4
9B for darker contour and leftovers and eyes
6B for leftovers hair, face and some parts of the neck
5B for lighter shades of the design
07 graphite used to make the scribbles before rounding with the 9B
