Due to the crazy winds and lack of blue skies lately here, I decided to draw my OC Ken on a half-clouded, windy day. Figured out how to crop my sketches properly so I can do backgrounds much faster now lol. The only downside is the slight white outline to everything, but I know alot of artists who do this so I'm not too worried about it. I also decided to go with three tones for shading, and it worked out ok. My lighter tones still don't pop as much though, despite using full white; guess I just need to spend more time on blending. I painted the clouds from scratch, but because I used a million different brushes, and some leave permanent marks on the layer, I feel like that came out odd and flat. I discovered the one that work best near the end, so I'll just use those 2-3 next time XD
