Title comes from this song... which I didn't actually listen to while I was drawing this, but whatever.

GUYS, IT'S BEEN SO LONG SINCE I'VE, LIKE... DONE AN ACTUAL FINISHED DRAWING. Probably not since this in August, probably. The weird thing about this drawing is that it only took me like a week or less to do... Which is probably because using the brush tool for the line art made lining much easier than usual. :m Maybe I'll line like this more often! It's definitely more fun than using the pen tool for lining... I think I'll still use the pen tool for lining cell shaded drawings, though.

Anyway, uh... Yeah, idk what to say. I've gotten worse at coming up with stuff for footnotes. "orz
I've been having fun drawing my TWEWY character O. J.! Which you've probably noticed, and I've probably said before. I just wanted to draw him in some different clothing, here, because CLOTHING IS FUN. ...But then it turned into this whole big drawing. :^D I keep drawing him in all these clothes with the same silhouette, but WHATEVER. IT'S FUN. STOP BOTHERING MEEEEEEEEEEE...
/no one's actually bothering me

Coloring this was pretty fun for me. Usually when I do soft shading, I use the pen tool to cell shade, and then I use the watercolor tool with a different color to blend the cell shaded part. This time I just used the watercolor tool straight up, and limited myself to one shadow color per base color. :M It came out better than I expected it to! I always forget that using a large canvas actually does make a difference... When I use the watercolor tool on like 600 x 900 canvases, it doesn't come out as nice as it does on like 2600 x 3000 canvases. And speaking of canvas sizes, I want to try working on an even lager canvas size some time... I usually work at around 8in x 12in (2400px x 3800px) for finished drawings, but if I ever want to do a 11 x 17 poster, I'm going to have to work larger. I'm kind of intimidated. "orz BUT! Maybe some day. Haha.

OKAY, now that these footnotes are pointlessly long, I'll end here. THANKS FOR DOING THE VIEWING, MY FRIEND/ACQUAINTANCE/STRANGER! ;u;/
