So I drew a thing for Akioh's challenge!

Basically I designed their outfits based on the titles of wintery/Christmas songs. I'll go ahead and talk about each one.

The one on the left is based on Peppermint Winter by Owl City. Modeled by my lovely character Daisy. I don't know that she would actually wear something like that... xD
But anyway. When I think of peppermint, I think of candy canes, and winter reminds me of snow. So the fluffy parts of her outfit is like snow and her dress is like a candy cane. She's wearing a choker with two small candy canes formed into a heart. c: and bows just always find their way into my art somehow.

The middle design is modeled by my persona/character Raven. This one is based off of Love Like Winter by AFI.
The music video to this song is probably my top favorite one ever. I love winter-y stuff and Davey Havok is so pretty *~*
So this design is really just after the title, but I wanted to incorporate the androgynous look that Davey Havok has in this video, hence the asymmetrical hair and the long coat. I think the hearts and pastel-ish colors make it really cute despite the cold, icy look.

And the last design is from I Hate Christmas Parties by Relient K. With my character Dare as the model.
This song is really kind of sad D: but just basing off the title alone, I would think it's about a guy who's all angry and grumpy who never has any Christmas spirit. (Like my character Dare. He lives on a beach so he's unaccustomed to cold weather and snow so he doesn't like it.)
So I was thinking of like someone giving my character a sweater but he wears it anyway because he cares about the person. And since he's really cold, he thought matching harem sweatpants might help. I didn't put him in anything too Christmas-y, I'd say it's more wintery because of the snowflakes rather than like. A reindeer or something. heh.
