I've never done this before! I knew a few of the animes, especially FMA (FullmetalFan28 is my username, go figure.) I hate it when I can't stay true to the original style and FMA is far beyond my skill level. I saw the OCs and this chibi popped into my head when I saw Aelena! I had been craving candy canes at the time so I added them in with a heart theme and did a bit of accent colouring. (That british spelling is the result of too much Dr. Who and Sherlock. Oops.)
