This challenge was actually right in time for me starting to draw Mikaela, and the funny thing was at first, I didn't even register that he fit it. Then, while I was watching the anime a little bit later, it hit me that the manga came out in 2013 and the anime just premiered in April of this year. Anyway, so this series is called Seraph of the End, and Mikaela (also called Mika) was an orphan and best friend of the main character Yuichiro Hyakuya. However, during their escapes from the vampires at the beginning of the series, he is thought to be killed but is really turned into a vampire, hence he does have fangs in this (though you might not be able to see them ^^;) Won't give away anymore about him though.

This was done in colored pencil, and I decided to be a little more colorful with it and used purple in the cape and all. It ended up being more work then I thought, but I like how it turned out.

Anyway, if you have time, you should definitely check this series out. It's definitely a good one
