Aurora Borealis

An original character I created a while back. I had planned on creating my own manga but never had the time or motivation to do so. The title would have been 'Sakura Goddess'. Aurora lives in a faraway land called Gemini (one of the twelve kingdoms named after the zodiac signs) and is in training to become a royal guard to their Goddess, Andromeda. Her younger sister, Luna, looks up to her more than anyone else because it's traditionally a man's role to become a royal guard but she's persevered despite her own parents advising against it.

The Goddess is attacked during their annual festival and it is Aurora that saves her from the enigmatic assassin. The Goddess then bestows upon Aurora the highest honor someone of her status can achieve; the Goddesses personal guard, to protect her at all times. But the enigmatic assassin still lurks and it's Aurora's duty to destroy him...but what happens when you fall in love with the enemy?

Their kingdom's symbol/emblem is that of a sakura flower that blooms in the moonlight.

So yeah...I'm thinking instead of creating a manga to just write it out into a story. I'm not sure.
