Hey guys! So here's my entry for twilight tiger's challenge "Fallen Angels"~
Wow, this has got to be the first in a long time that I traditionally drew something without Photoshop :S I usually draw in Photoshop because the program fixes the random jerky lines from my shaky hands xD
I am hoping this looks alright! IGNORE THAT FOOT I honestly think it came out better than what I thought. Keep in mind that I haven't done anything traditionally in a very long time (I don't remember exactly when) :P So I am pretty amazed at how good this turned out! But also it's not a masterpiece either xD OMG that left leg scares me
I also am very glad that I had a whole day off to do challenge entries!!!! :D So expect quite a lot of stuff from me today! xD
A lot of the photos I saw on Google were pretty cool. I took the idea of the feathers starting to fall off from a few of the images. I thought it fit the fallen angel idea perfectly. From what I have read, angels cane loose their wings if they rebel against God (or breaking another law). So I thought why not depict that in the image? It will help with getting the idea across to people. I guess I could've made her look more sad or crying or something :S
So I drew the girl first in pencil (after ripping apart the apartment looking or a sketchbook, a pencil, and a sharpener xD) and then took out my massive Sharpie collection and did the outlines with the fine-tipped Sharpie pen. I haven't decided whether to color it later or not xD
Anyways, I hope you guys like it!!! :D
