Premiered in April 2014 (Been watching it ever since)

Long time no artwork huh? I'm looking to change that. I had some inspiration and I made this drawing.

This is my very last minute submission for the "New" fan art challenge. I'm sorry this is so late. I've been going through a huge art block lately. I think I'm starting to come out of it a bit.

The character I drew is the main protagonist of Yu-Gi-Oh Arc-V, Yuya Sakaki. He dreams of being an entertainment duelist just like his dad, Yusho Sakaki. He has two best friends; Gongenzaka Noboru and Yuzu Hiragi. Both have been his friends since childhood and they encourage him to follow his dream and be true to himself.

I've been wanting to draw Yuya for awhile now. He is actually a very inspiring character to me. I love his attitude on life. He's a goofball but he's also a great person with a good heart.

The drawing took me about an hour to two hours to do. That's with drawing it, tracing it out in pen, coloring it with colored pencils. The coloring actually took the longest because I wanted it to look just right. I did my best. He was a lot of fun to draw. I added a blue tie-dye background to make him stand out more.

I apologize for the quality of the picture. Actual drawing does look better in real life. My phone takes low quality pictures. I did my best to enhance it and touch it up in Photoshop.
