I’m finished my second-ever commission!! My friend Marcos wanted me to draw his Fallout OC, nicknamed “Da Sheriff” with his companion, Veronica. He gave me a few screenshots and backgrounds, and told me to run with it - and it was REALLY fun.

So here’s the two of them, stopped in the middle of the night on a sarsaparilla break!

Now for artist notes. Really happy with this. I FINALLY remembered that for night scenes, you gotta turn the colors’ saturation DOWN. And it makes all the difference. It was especially fun doing the Pip Boy’s light, and how it would illuminate Da Sheriff’s face in the dark.

I used GalooGameLady’s artwork as huge inspiration for this, because I really love the way she incorporates OCs into screenshots. Her tutorial on how to do it is really well made! Thank you, Galoo!
