This comes from a scene of a story I've been writing. The main character's center (underground living station) is raided, Jen (white haired female) is hit with shrapnel from an explosive. Aarin (brown haired male) carries Jen towards a tree nursery to escape and is shot in the leg escaping. The two hobble to the outskirts of the center and Aarin stumbles to the ground as they arrive at the tree nursery. There's a large explosion, Jen looks back and watches their friends and livelihood go up in smoke before her eyes. Aarin curses the raiders as barbarians and swears vengeance.
