Decided to try completely different techniques this week, with my OC Zack as a guinea pig :P I actually did my lineart in full digital pen; not really happy with how it turned out as the lines are too thick and dark... Might try a different tool altogether or just stick with the original pencil lol I finally learned how to manage layers properly in Manga Studio 5, which helps a tonne as I can now do all of my shades in ONE layer, as well as my highlights on a separate layer that still blends with the shades. Thank you youtube tutorials :P Aside from the dark lineart, I'm happy with how this turned out, and look forward to fine tuning this new approach.
